RESOURCE GEOLOGIST- Senior/ Principal Consultant

Autonomous role where you are the link between the Exploration team and the Mine Geology team. Technical support from the Manager. Role with genuine variety:

Geological interpretations, mineral resource estimations and design drill programs

Involvement in working closely with the Mining Engineer on mining studies- mining designs and LOM planning

Substantial resource base for the Project Group- extensional and mine/ resource studies. Fully funded company who is going through an agressive growth phase. Moving from an explorer into a producer. Perth based position, be home every night with the family. Time on site is limited to only a couple of days a month.
To be considered for this role you will hold BSc (Geology) have about 10+ years exp, mainly operational exposure, resource exp and pre feasibility and feasibility studies exp. Surpac preferred. Must be based in Australia.

SENIOR CONSULTANT- RESOURCE GEOLOGIST
You're currently working in a mine based role as a Resource Geologist, but geostatistics is where you want to specialise.
You are getting some exposure at the moment, but there is no one to learn from and there is only so much Geostats you can do for one site or mining house.
A consultancy based role is your best bet to become a Geostats expert, by working on complex estimation projects with a variety of commodities (mainly gold, iron ore and base metals). Mentoring from Resource Manager and access to in- house Geostatistician will excelerate your knowledge.
